Meet Kenny Peets, PGA

Kenrich “Kenny” Peets was born on nearby St. Kitts, where he learned to play golf as a child. In the 80s and early 90s, he represented his island and the region of the Organisation of the East Caribbean States (O.E.C.S) in regional tournaments before moving to St. Croix. Subsequently, he began his professional career at St. Croix’s Carambola Golf Club under the supervision of Greg McCullouch, who was a former PGA member. He has since developed skills in teaching adult clinics, junior programs, private lessons and directing tournaments. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of playing golf on world-class golf courses around the world. One of his fondest memories is when he defeated the world-famous Chi Chi Rodriguez’s younger brother (Jose) in a three-hole playoff. This resulted in winning the Island Chapter Championship, which included all the golf professionals of the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Kenny joined The Buccaneer as Golf Professional in 2015 and especially enjoys time spent developing St Croix’s junior golfers.
