Tennis Director Don deWilde has been there 30 years, far longer than any resort pro anywhere in the islands, and a longevity that seems appropriate at a family run resort. Not only does Buccaneer tennis pro Don deWilde know tennis, he knows the game of most of the Buccaneer's repeat guests and local players.

A graduate of the College of William and Mary in Virginia, Don bounced around a few Caribbean resorts before finding his home on the sunny shores of St. Croix. Don feels two things make tennis at The Buccaneer special: the opportunity to play outdoors 365 days a year in the spectacular setting, and the clientele.

Junior Tennis Camps at The Buccaneer
Bring the family to The Buccaneer St Croix this August for great tennis for kids. Don Dewilde, resident pro at The Buccaneer, is providing a limited opportunity for 16 children to participate in the week-long clinics, at a cost of $110 per child.

Junior beginners ages seven to twelve years old play 8 am to 11 am daily August 3-7, 2009. Junior intermediate players eight to fourteen years old play 8 am to 11 am daily August 10-14, 2009.
