Deluxe Ocean Front room! As 25-time visitors to Bermuda, and having stayed and/or dined a number of times at the "best" hotels there, I must say that I believe The Buccaneer either equals or exceeds them in all aspects of consideration and enjoyment to the hotel guest. "My wife Sue and I ... spent a great deal of time surfing the web as I indicated and finally chose your resort hotel based on your website and the reviews we read. We had a really marvelous time and would like to return someday. We were particularly struck by the attitude of your entire staff. "I would like to share a little bit about my outstanding stay at The Buccaneer. First, I would like to tell you about the amount of research that I put toward my vacations. I get to travel so few weeks a year that I try to do everything to insure a most memorable experience. I picked YOUR resort, not the island. We simply chose to stay for the wonderful things we had read about The Buccaneer.
We checked in on Sunday, August 24 and had learned that Emmy had upgraded us to an oceanfront room right on the beach. That was splendid, but even more so was the champagne chilling in our room waiting for us. I had e-mailed your resort to let them know it was our second anniversary. Large resorts would have never added such special touches! Thank you for thinking of us.
The service was impeccable to say the least! Marcia at the front desk and Emmy in concierge made dinner reservations and excursion arrangements for us all week. One evening I was telling Marcia about how much I wanted a lobster and five minutes later she had arranged a cab and we had dinner reservations for lobster! Your bartenders, wait staff for every meal, pool personnel (Lori and Paul are just fabulous) are just all to wonderful to mention. I just couldn't imagine having a better time anywhere! Thank so much for providing above and beyond excellent service. We will return next year and recommend you to everyone we know!"
