Buck Island Reef National Monument *

No trip to St. Croix is complete without a trip to beautiful Buck Island, the only underwater national park. Spend the day or a half-day on this uninhabited island, known for its fabulous snorkeling. Caribbean Sea Adventures offers a full-day sail to Buck Island, weather permitting, from The Buccaneer's dock. Exclusively for Buccaneer guests, the Wave Dancer departs at 10:00 am, returning at about 4 pm. $95 adults, $75 children 12 and under, including equipment and lunch. A four-hour trip is available for $65 adults, $45 for children.

Art Classes
St. Croix artist Jane Aiken leads a watercolor class on our beautiful Great House Terrace, with expansive views to serve as inspiration. All skill levels are invited. $60 per class, 2:00pm to 4:30pm Thursdays and Fridays, and by appointment. Contact

 
Scuba Diving *
For the novice or expert, St. Croix is a diver's paradise. Scuba Diving magazine recognized St. Croix for its famed scuba diving and snorkeling offerings in the Top 100 Readers Choice Awards, January-February 2009 issue. Among the destination's awards highlights include top wall diving, top shore diving, top snorkeling and top overall value. St Croix received six awards including "Top Dive Destinations in the Caribbean Atlantic".

There are more than 50 premium dive sites to choose from, including the wreck of the Rosamaria, the pier in Frederiksted, and a spectacular 13,000 foot drop-off on the north shore known as The Wall. St. Croix Island Tour *
Let someone else do the driving or rent your own car. See some of the most interesting, beautiful and historical sites on the island. It stops at the Cruzan Rum Distillery, the antique-filled 18th century great house at The Whim Museum, our lush St George's Botanical Gardens, and features a drive through the rain forest to visit a mahogany furniture workshop.

 
Kayaking on Salt River *
Paddle through the protected waters of Salt River Bay National Park and Ecological preserve to the spot where Christopher Columbus' crew from the Mariagalante made landfall 500 years ago. Explore birding areas, and observe ancient Taino Indian burial grounds. Some night-time luminescent tours are also available. Beginners and experts are welcome. Learn to Sail *
The Virgin Islands are the ideal location to learn to sail. Christiansted harbor and the waters surrounding St. Croix add to the ease of the beginning experience with steady winds and calm seas, while the offshore trips offer a challenging new experience. See www.jonesmaritime.com.

 
Horseback Riding *
Ride through a rainforest, along the beach, and visit old slave village ruins all in a single ride.

 
Sunset Sail *

Ruins Ramble *
Educational tours sponsored by the St Croix Landmarks Society brings history alive. Monthly November to May.

 
Deep Sea Fishing *
